Introduction to Shapeshifting

We understand that some of you may be new to Shapeshifting, and you might be wondering how it can benefit your yoga practice. Shapeshifting is a unique and transformative practice that was created by Mary Jarvis over many years.

Initially, Mary developed this class to aid in her own recovery from a broken spine after a car accident. However, she continued to refine and expand the practice because she noticed that the exercises not only helped heal her body and reduce her pain but also made her and others who practiced it very strong.

A 90-minute Shapeshifting class consists of 13 exercises, including energy movement exercises like The Tibetans, barre work, lunges, wall-walks, and headstand preps. These exercises are designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellness, enhancing your yoga practice in a holistic way.
